Thank you for your interest in becoming a coach. We take coaching very seriously. Therefore all coaching applicants must have a background check conducted. 

1. Start by completing the application form.
2. Your application will be processed by an authorized agency.
3. Your application will be reviewed by BPAA.
4. You will be notified if there is an issue with your background check, or if more information is needed.  If you do not hear anything back from us, there were no issues with the information provided.
5. You will upload your current Concussion Certificate 

Required Paperwork:

• Background Check
  • Required annually from the date last completed for ANY BPAA sport.
• Concussion Training
  • Completed every three years for all BPAA sports, attach your certificate to the online Background Check/Concussion Training Form.
  • If you have all ready completed this and have it on file with BPAA sports, simply let us know in the application.
  • Click here to go to the Concussion Awareness Training Tool, website. 
  • After completion, a certificate will be created for you with your name on it.  Save the PDF to your computer, or take a screen shot of the certificate with your name on it.  This is proof that the course was completed by you on the date you completed the training.  DO NOT EXIT THE WEBSITE UNTIL YOU SAVE YOUR CERTIFICATE.  Save this for three years! Do not close the website until you save it or take a picture of it.
  • Upload the file when filling out your Background Check/Concussion Certificate.
